About me
Technology, service, and a practical approach
I’m Anthony Finlay, an information technology professional with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in technical support, systems administration, infrastructure management, and team leadership.
My career began in the United States Navy, where I spent 20 years managing telecommunications and IT systems in demanding, mission-critical environments. After retiring from the Navy, I continued my career in federal contracting and private-sector IT roles, supporting users, servers, networks, virtualization platforms, backups, and business-critical services.
I enjoy building technology that is dependable, secure, and understandable. That same practical mindset carries into my personal interests, including self-hosting, woodworking, fishing, golf, and spending time outdoors along Utah’s Wasatch Front.
Finlay Family Services is my personal home for the technology and services I maintain for my family, along with a place to share a little about my professional background and interests.
